Half Male Half Female Butterfly to be Displayed at Drexler University

Rare half male half female butterfly will be on public display at the Drexler University. The butterfly is named as Lexias Pardalis. The university’s Academy of Natural Sciences will exhibit it from Jan 17 to Feb 16. Experts say that this new and rare species can be found in the rainforests of Southeast Asia.

The species are born like this because they suffer an anomaly publicly known as bilateral gynandromorphy.
