Habitat loss forcing chimps to raid farms for food

Adapting to human pressure on their habitat, wild chimpanzees are frequently carrying out night-time raids on farmlands to find food, camera traps revealed.

A team of researchers from Paris' Museum of Natural History and the Uganda Wildlife Authority installed camera traps on the edge of a park surrounded on the outside by smallholder farms, forest sections and tea estates.
