PRAGUE, Feb. 24 (Xinhua) -- Eight people were shot dead on Tuesday's attack in Druzba restaurant in Uhersky Brod, Czech Republic, said Czech Interior Minister Milan Chovanec who is flying to the site of the attack along with Police President Tomas Tuhy aboard a helicopter. He said the gunman of the attack is also dead.
Uhersky Brod Mayor Patrik Kuncar said an armed man broke into the pub and started shooting indiscriminately. He said the gunman shot himself after the attack. The perpetrator was a local man about sixty, apparently mentally unstable.
