JALALABAD, Afghanistan Afghan security forces killed two gunmen barricaded inside a house in Jalalabad on Wednesday, ending a siege that followed a suicide attack on the Pakistani consulate in the city, a senior official said.
Deputy Interior Minister Ayoub Salangi said the two militants were killed in a shootout with heavily armed police units. Officials said at least seven members of the security forces were also killed.
