According to The Wrap on Saturday, director James Gunn's "Guardians of the Galaxy" indeed passed up the $300 million mark in both foreign and domestic box office counts. The film has already opened in Japan, but as of yet to even debut in China and Italy. That being said, with other countries to afford an opportunity for continued dollar amount counts, this could bode well financially for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Gunn even made an announcement recently about Facebook in regards to this achievement and comically mentioned he had a calculator ready to crunch the numbers.
