Thousands of tearful, black-clad mourners lined the streets of Bangkok on Friday as the body of King Bhumibol Adulyadej, the world’s longest-reigning monarch, was taken the 2.5 mile distance from the hospital where he died to the city's Grand Palace.
The king's body will lie at the Temple of the Emerald Buddha — or Wat Phra Kaew — in the palace grounds to allow people to pay their respects.
