
The Hollywood Foreign Press Assn. tapped Greer Grammer as Miss Golden Globes at a soiree where reps from the film and TV world, including Chadwick Bosman, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Morten Tyldum and Matthew Morrison, mingled in a wall-to-wall schmooze-fest.
Theo Kingma, president of the HFPA, told Variety that the event was “the beginning of Golden Globe season,” and there were plenty of awards contenders there. Just before the party, Kingma unveiled Grammer for the title, carrying on a 50-year tradition of naming a second-generation performer.
