Graphene sturdier than steel, better than Kevlar for body armor

According to a new experiment done by American researchers, graphene could prove a better material for making bulletproof armors than steel and Kevlar.

Graphene is pure carbon sheet which is more or less transparent and has the thinness of just one atom. The experiments showed that it can withstand a bullet ten times better than steel. The study was conducted by researchers at Rice University in the US.
