Grants available in Conn. to cut invasive species

HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) - Connecticut environmental officials say $150,000 in grants is available to municipalities to manage and reduce invasive species in the state's inland waters.

Money from the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection will fund feasibility studies for the control of aquatic invasive species populations.
