Governor's Summit makes the case for hiring Michigan workers with disabilities

LANSING, MI - There is an untapped pool of potential and talent in the state's workforce, Lt. Gov. Brian Calley told attendees of the Governor's Business to Business Summit on Disability Employment on Monday.

The Republican politician is leading an effort in state government to make the entire workforce more culturally competent as well as recruit workers with disabilities. Gov. Rick Snyder issued a directive to this effect in October.
