Scientists at MIT are working with Bill Gates on a revolutionary new microchip birth control implant that would allow women to control their contraception wirelessly by remote control.
The implant, by a startup company called MicroCHIPS, could be filled with 16 years’ worth of birth control. When a woman is ready to get pregnant and start a family, she would simply turn the device off remotely. She could turn it on again later when she needs it, Business Insider reports.
