Global health agency wants you to slash those spoonfuls of sugar from your diet

You will have to do more than just eliminate your daily bottle of pop to meet the World Health Organization’s new guidelines on added sugars.

The global health agency is urging people to limit their intake of added sugars to less than 10 per cent of total daily calories — about the equivalent of 13 teaspoons of sugar — to combat obesity and tooth decay.
