New Delhi: A day after Tehelka Editor-in-Chief Tarun Tejpal stepped down for six months after allegations of sexual assault were made against him by a woman colleague, the magazine's Managing Editor Shoma Chaudhury on Thursday said that she is in touch with the girl and the survivor is not ready to file a police complaint. Chaudhury added that a sexual harassment cell will be formed in the organisation by Thursday's evening.
"To my understanding she wanted an apology which was given to her. He (Tarun Tejapl) stepped down which was not something she had asked for, it was over and above that. I'm in the process of setting up a committee. By this evening a harassment committee will definitely be set up," she said.
