BERLIN – Cologne's famous cathedral will soon be getting a new relic of a saint, with the gift of a drop of Pope St. John Paul II's blood from Krakow Cardinal Stanislaw Dziwisz.

Dziwisz, the former aide of the Polish pontiff who died in 2005, gave the relic to Cologne Archbishop Rainer Maria Woelki as a 60th birthday present.
