Georgia leaders meet to work on compromise for cannabis oil bill

AUGUSTA, Ga.--Augusta mom Valerie Weaver spoke at a rally at the Georgia state capitol Thursday, as Georgia House and Senate leaders try to combine two medical marijuana bills into one. Her son, Preston, has seizures and gets cannabis oil as part of a trial at GRU. But, she knows there are other people who need it too, people like Danielle Stokes.

"For politicians to look at me and say, 'There's nothing wrong with you. It can't be that bad.' It's like mm hmm.. walk a mile in my shoes. I'll give you ten minutes," she said.
