Georgia Company Will Face Trial This Week on Several Accounts for Salmonella Outbreak

The head of the Peanut Corp. of America, Stewart Parnell, quality assurance manager Mary Wilkerson and a few others have been charged by the federal government on 76 counts which include scheming and obstruction of justice. The trial begins this week.

The inspectors from the Food and Drug Administration reported adverse conditions in their Blakely plant. They found mold, leaky roof and roaches.
