George Harrison memorial tree killed by beetles 

A tree planted in honor of the late Beatles guitarist was ironically felled by an infestation of beetles. The tree will be replaced, although a date for the replanting has not been set.

In an ironic twist, a pine tree planted at Griffith Park in honor of the late Beatle died due to a beetle infestation, according to the Los Angeles Times.
