Liberal MPs Massimo Pacetti and Scott Andrews have been suspended from caucus amid allegations of personal misconduct. Liberal party whip Judy Foote has asked House of Commons Speaker Andrew Scheer to investigate allegations of “personal misconduct” by two Liberal MPs against two other MPs from another party. Sources say the MPs making the allegations are from the NDP caucus. Foote did not identify the MPs in a letter released Wednesday, but the Liberals confirmed the allegations are against Quebec MP Pacetti and Andrews, a Newfoundland and Labrador MP who was the Liberal ethics critic. “Pending resolution of this matter the two Members who are the subject of the allegations have been instructed that effective immediately they will not sit as members of the Liberal caucus,” wrote Foote.
