Fusion gets big distribution boost from Disney-DirecTV carriage pact

With Disney having recently announced a wide-ranging carriage pact set with DirecTV, a press release statement by ABC and Univision's news venture Fusion - which chiefly targets the Hispanic millennial - has revealed that the Disney-DirecTV pact spells big distribution gains for the channel.

Despite the fact that it is not yet clear as to how widely Fusion will be distributed across DirecTV, which currently has 20 million subscribers in the US, Fusion's subscriber base is projected to increase to approximately 40 million households in 2015.
