This week, Friday Feedback takes a second look at the long waits for care that some veterans go through at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), as well as Congress' response to the problem. At the annual meeting of the American Medical Association (AMA), members called for immediate action. But reimbursement remains unclear, and some AMA members even called on their peers to provide services gratis. We reached out to a diverse group of primary care physicians via email to ask about the VA failures and possible solutions.
