France to Remain on High Terror Alert at Least Until Summer

France's government is extending special anti-terrorism measures at least until early summer, with tens of thousands of security forces protecting hundreds of religious, tourist and other sites since the deadly attacks in January.

Defense Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian said that President Francois Hollande decided Wednesday to extend the measures "as long as necessary" because the threat of a new attack on France "remains high."
