PARIS — France launched new airstrikes on the Islamic State stronghold of Raqqa in Syria Tuesday while French police carried out more than 120 anti-terrorism raids throughout France four days after the devastating terrorist attacks in Paris that killed at least 129 people.
French military spokesman Col. Gilles Jaron said the fresh wave of airstrikes on Islamic State’s de facto capital destroyed a command post and training camp, news agencies reported.
