Flu Cases Reported in Colorado

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has reported cases of flu in Colorado and has urged citizens to take precautions to stay protected from the illness. The use of flu shots has been recommended by the Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association (NCVNA). The shots are highly effective in subsiding symptoms and in some cases even prevent death.

The state reports have showed that most of the cases fall under the category of the H3 strand of the virus.
