Florida wildlife officials targeting carnivorous Nile lizards

A carnivorous lizard species native to Africa is being targeted by the Florida Fish & Wildlife officials who say that lizard could pose a big threat to local pets and people.

The lizards, which are also known as Nile monitors, are huge enough to eat pets like cats. Wildlife officials say that these lizards are invading South Florida.
