(The following statement was released by the rating agency) NEW YORK, April 13 (Fitch) Fitch Ratings has affirmed the United States' Long-term foreign and local currency Issuer Default Ratings (IDRs) at 'AAA'.

Fitch has also affirmed the issue ratings on the United States' senior unsecured foreign and local currency bonds at 'AAA'. The Rating Outlooks on the Long-term IDRs are Stable.
