A First: NASA’s NuSTAR provides images of our Sun

For the first time, NASA's Nuclear Spectroscopic Telescope Array, or NuSTAR, has provided images of the Sun. NuSTAR mission was planned to improve the research activities related to the Sun. David Smith, a solar physicist and member of the NuSTAR team at University of California, Santa Cruz, discussed the plan of using NuSTAR with the principal investigator, Fiona Harrison of the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena.
