Fiat Chrysler says its U.S. sales rose 6 percent last month, a sign that April will be another good month for the industry.
The company says it sold just over 189,000 cars and trucks for its best April since 2007. But the increase fell short of analysts' predictions. TrueCar.com expected Chrysler sales to rise 10.6 percent and Edmunds.com predicted a 7.5 percent increase.
