Feds give $4.9M boost to Ky. health centers

Kentucky will receive nearly $5 million in Affordable Care Act funds to boost primary care services at 21 health centers, including the Park DuValle Community Health Center.

The money – which will help reach almost 31,000 new patients in Kentucky -- is part of about $295 million being awarded nationally to help centers make enhancements, such as hiring personnel, staying open longer and adding new services.
