FDA Not Convinced of Need For AVERSION Drug

The abuse of Prescription-grade painkillers has been on a steady rise for many years now and government regulation and pharmaceutical companies alike have been at their wits end trying to put a stop to it.

Acura Pharmaceuticals, though, recently formulated the idea of developing an acetaminophen-based hydrocodone painkiller designed to offer pain relief without the potential for abuse by nasal snorting and injection. Fittingly, they call this hypothetical treatment AVERSION.
