FDA lifts Ban on Blood Donation by Gays

The FDA has lifted a ban on blood donation by homosexuals.

The FDA revised its policies with reference to blood donors. The major risk was the transference of HIV infected blood to recipients on an inadvertent level. It is the FDA’s responsibility to ensure that the blood supply used in the donation efforts remains free of any viruses or pathogens.
