Fasting Can Revive Immune System, New Study Says

Fasting for at least two days can revive the immune system, a new study done by scientists from the University of Southern California reveals.

Researchers analyzed the effects of fasting for two to four days for six months on both human and mice. In both studies, it was revealed that long periods of fasting notably lowered white blood cell counts.
