Fanged Afghan Deer spotted after 60 Years

A group of researchers working on a project in Afghanistan has spotted the fanged Afghan deer that was not seen for the last 60 years. The Kashmir Musk Deer was last spotted in 1948 and since then, researchers have been making efforts to confirm whether or not the species exists on the planet. The last documented sighting of the deer was reported by a Danish team.

According to researchers from the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS), they have reported five documented sightings of the fanged deer in the forested slopes of the northeastern region of Afghanistan.
