Family members and congressmen expected in Germany to be reunited with freed Americans

Landstuhl, Germany — Family members and several U.S. congressmen are expected to arrive in this quiet German town Monday to reunite with the three former American hostages just freed after years in prison in Iran.

Washington Post reporter Jason Rezaian, Marine veteran Amir Hekmati and Christian pastor Saeed Abedini were freed as the United States signed an historic deal with Iran, dropping economic sanctions in exchange for safeguards on Iran’s nuclear program.
