External advisory panel scores CDC low on lab security and staff training

A team of safety experts that was contracted to evaluate lab techniques and procedural operations at the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as scored the health agency low in areas of lab safety, staff training, and biosafety among other professional requirements.
