Exotic Orca Whales Get Cozy in the Pacific Northwest

Exotic orca whales have now been spotted not too far off the coast of Pacific Northwest, and more of them are now being spotted closer and closer to the shore. This may be concerning considering how the area makes for a major ocean traffic and lots of commercial and casual boats pass through those waters everyday, which could prove to be a sort of hindrance for the growing presence of these orca whales and possibly even humans.

The Seattle Times claims that most of these sightings are a little bit further North, near the British Columbia’s Vancouver Island.
