Exoplanet in System With 4 Sun-like Stars Discovered

Astronomers from the Palomar Observatory in San Diego have discovered that a massive exoplanet that resides in a system with four stars – making it the second discovery of this type in the history of interstellar study.

The massive body is mostly gaseous, has a circumference more than ten times the size of Jupiter and completes an orbit of its primary star in 335 days. It resides in the Ari 30 planetary- system, situated about 136 light-years away from Earth.
