Evolution of toothless Birds happened 116 Million Years Ago

A new study conducted to find out how birds lost their teeth has provided interesting information about evolution of different species. Birds are direct descendants of dinosaurs which can be traced back to Archaeopteryx, a feathered dinosaur that had teeth coupled with a semi beak along with wings.

Archaeopteryx was one of the first transitional species discovered and it presents a very clear idea of how birds came into existence.
