Even ‘Penguins’ can get on your nerves

Dave, aka Dr. Octavius Brine (John Malkovich), the octopus mad-scientist archvillain of DreamWorks’ “The Penguins of Madagascar,” hates penguins because he’s sick to death of people thinking they are the cutest things ever. I feel your pain, Dave. I liked “March of the Penguins” as much as the next person, even if the film avoided bringing up some unfortunate truths about its subjects. But enough with these dang penguins. Can we get a penguin moratorium going?
