BEVERLY HILLS — Essence magazine's annual Black Women in Hollywood luncheon is becoming one of the premier events of Oscars week, according to the honorees and attendees who gushed about the importance of the star-studded affair, held Thursday at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel.
