ESO’s Very Large Telescope Captures Cometery Globule CG4

European Southern Observatory’s (ESO) Very Large Telescope has captured the “mouth of the beast”.

The image of the ‘mouth of beast’ shows a cometary globule located 1,300 light years away from Earth in the constellation of Puppis. It is also known as The Poop or Stern. Cometary globules are faint, small clouds of gas and dust within our Milky Way Galaxy.
