WASHINGTON — The Obama administration put new restrictions on smog-causing ozone production Thursday, rules that business groups denounced as jobs killers and which some environmentalists say don't go far enough.
The new rules are designed to "protect people's health as well as the environment," said Gina McCarthy, administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency.
