Enterovirus throws wrench in flu season

Delaware health officials are urging everyone to get their flu shot this fall, following an outbreak of human enterovirus 68 that has sickened hundreds nationwide.

The enterovirus, known as EV-D68, threw a wrench into the typical flu season, and has made the coming months unpredictable. That has health officials on guard, since it is unknown how the virus will affect a child's immunity against the flu.
