Enterovirus Outbreak Stuns Health Officials

What began in the Midwest, the respiratory disease known as enterovirus -68 (EV-68), now has spread its wings across the country and has health professionals stunned and baffled. Hospitals, public health departments and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) are essentially working on the fly in attempts to manage care and control current infections.
