LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- Enterovirus D68, which has spread quickly across several states, has reached Arkansas, the Centers for Disease Control and the Arkansas Department of Health confirmed Monday.
EV-D68 is one of many common cold viruses seen throughout the United States, but health officials say the strain has hit earlier and harder than in years past. They say it has also poses a heightened risk to children -- especially those with breathing problems.
