Ousted president sentenced over the killing of protesters in 2012

CAIRO—An Egyptian criminal court Tuesday sentenced the nation’s ousted president Mohammed Morsi to 20 years in prison on charges of encouraging violence, but acquitted him of incitement to murder which would have carried a mandatory death penalty.
