Ebola survivor Amber Vinson says health officials repeatedly told her she could fly on commercial plane: 'I was never told that I couldn't travel'

The Texas Health Presbyterian was diagnosed with Ebola last month just days after she flew from Dallas to Ohio and back. She treated an Ebola patient before her trip and asked her bosses multiple times if it was safe for her to travel ― each time, they gave her the green light. She also said she received nearly no training before the hospital’s first Ebola patient showed up in the ER.

Ebola survivor Amber Vinson only traveled days before her diagnosis because health officials repeatedly told her it was okay, she said.
