Ebola-stricken doctor improving in Atlanta

Dr. Kent Brantly, the American doctor who contracted the Ebola virus in Liberia, could be released from Emory University Hospital "in the near future," said Franklin Graham, president and CEO of Samaritan's Purse, which sponsored Brantly's work in West Africa.

In a Facebook post Thursday, Graham said, "Dr. Kent Brantly is doing very well and hopes to be released sometime in the near future. The staff at Emory Healthcare are taking extremely great care of him. Kent and his wife continue to express appreciation for everyone's prayers."
