Ebola Might Cost $15 Billion to West Africa over the Next Three Years

Thomson Reuters Foundation (DAKAR) – West Africa might lose approximately $15 billion within the next 3 years because of the recent Ebola break out, tourism and investment breakdown, according to a study conducted by the UN.

The deadliest Ebola pandemic in the world has taken the life of nearly 10,000 contaminated people in the three most afflicted countries – Liberia, Guinea, and Sierra Leone, increasing poverty in the least industrialized areas of the world to a tremendous degree.
