Top US lawmakers on Wednesday called for temporary ban on travel from West Africa to the US in an effort to prevent Ebola outbreak. To date, roughly 8,000 people have contracted Ebola in West Africa.
Thomas Eric Duncan got exposed to the deadly virus in Liberia. He arrived in the US at the Dallas International Airport and developed the symptoms after a week. He lost his life and even with high-quality American health care, Duncan transmitted the virus to at least two workers.
