Dallas nurse Nina Pham was infected with Ebola while nursing patient Thomas Eric Duncan at the Texas Health Presbyterian hospital. Despite measures taken to avoid transmission of the virus, she too tested positive and was put in isolation. Duncan unfortunately died while she was later transferred to the Clinical center in Bethesda for treatment. Two weeks down the line, she has managed to fully recover and declared Ebola free. Five separate tests were carried out to ascertain this and allow her out of quarantine.
